Believe it or not, but the entire build is self-financed meaning that all 300,000 visitors a year help to finance the final build. The best bit? Anyone that arrives at Guéldon can help with the construction under the close watch of the master-mason. The team is now made up of around 70 people who all work alongside one another to bring each aspect of the castle to life.
Mamo is the one in charge of the quarry while Jean-Paul and Clément act as the stonemasons. From there, Pakal and Guillaume serve as the masons, and Tito, Loulou, and Baptiste work together to make the mortar. Jean-Mi and Thierry are in charge of the wood, Sam is the carpenter, Roger makes the rope, and Nico and Mathieu work at the forge. Finally, Valérie paints the castle, Bruno is the tiler, and Ticia runs the horse and cart.
