It looked as though the team were destined to fall into a few troubles along the way. They weren’t doing anything wrong. In fact, it seemed like the stonemasons were cutting the bricks for the tower too perfectly.
The team worried that the perfect blocks suggested that Seigneur had more money than he would have had at the time. Plus, the flawless tower means that he would have had an army, which didn’t fit with their story. The team needed to make things a little less perfect.
