Not only did they build all their own tools, but the team also created all the construction machines they would need to carry the materials around the construction site. Amazingly, the team crafted their own cranes to move the heavier rocks.
Now, they could winch them up to the top levels on the building with ease. This was fitting of the 13th century and stuck to the methods they would have used at the time, all thanks to a little trip back in time.
