Leonard and Hazel decided that they would open an auto repair shop that they called Cherry Hill. Leonard wanted a place where he could use the skills he learned while he was in the military, along with his love of getting his hands dirty. The couple was very proud of their successful business, that was opened for many years in Fort Worth. The family business allowed the couple to remain together throughout the day yet make the income they wanted.
