Some of you may remember Gretchen Corbett as Beth Davenport from The Rockford Files. She left the show after 4 years, following a dispute with Universal. Before she took on the role of Beth, she gained a cult-following for her performance in the horror film Let’s Scare Jessica To Death.

Following the 70s, she made various appearances on variety shows and her career remained primarily on television.

We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Gretchen has a recurring role on the Fred Armisen creation, Portlandia. She currently resides in Portland and in 2014 directed Bo-Nita at the local Center Stage.

She also acted as the Artistic Director at the Havens Project, which provides underprivileged children in Portland with access to a theater and drama program.
