Erin Gray transcended the gender gap that frequently limited female actresses in television. In 1978, her role on Evening in Byzantium gave her the publicity she needed to succeed in Hollywood.
Erin was then offered a critical role on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and she played the first female Colonel on a television series in history. At the time this was unheard of, and, to be frank, a very big deal.

Erin took a brief part appearing on Magnum P.I. along Tom Selleck. Afterwards, she took a part on the web series Star Trek Continues.
Today, Gray is still active, acting on a number of different series and movies. She also has 2 children and is married to her second husband, Richard Hissong.
