Battlestar Galactica made Maren Jensen a 1970s overnight sensation. During the 70s, she was a popular model who appeared on the covers of Vogue and Mademoiselle.

By 1977, she was starring in tv hits like The Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries, just before she made it big with sci-fi hit, Battlestar Galactica.

Maren Jensen’s final role was in 1981, in Wes Craven’s Deadly Blessing. Shortly afterwards, she was diagnosed with Epstein-Barr Syndrome, which left her constantly fatigued. She settled down in New York City and lives a quiet life with her family.
