At just 12 years old, McKenzie Astin played the role of Andy Moffett on The Facts of Life. From 1985 to 1988 and the end of the show, little Andy was a fixture. Andy’s family situation is unstable, and he admits to living in three foster homes in the past five years.

Andy’s character wandered into Edna’s Edibles one day to try and get a job, little one was always looking for some way to make money and make an impression of the ladies. Andy had a crush on almost every girl in the cast. Beverly Ann (Cloris Leachman’s character) became a mother figure to Andy throughout the show.
