[post_page_title]Natalie | Mindy Cohn [/post_page_title]
The character of Natalie wasn’t supposed to even be. While in pre-production, the producers and actors went to Westlake School for Girls to research the living style for the show.

Natalie | Mindy Cohn

While they were there, Charlotte Rae (the lovely actress playing Mrs. Garrett), met Mindy Cohn and just loved everything about her – especially her peppery attitude and comedic timing. Rae loved Cohn so much that she made sure the role of Natalie would be created for Mindy (who wasn’t even an actress at the time!).
