You’d be excused for not remembering who Marc Summers, but you definitely know the celebrity he duked it out with on national TV. In 1994, Summers came on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote his Nickelodeon game show Double Dare. The interview starts out with Summers saying how much of a “neatness fanatic” he was.

The first guest, Burt Reynolds, didn’t take too kindly to Summers sitting with his back to him, so he started grilling him about who calls him that. “My wife tells me that often,” he replied, “I’m still married, as matter of fact.” Reynolds, who had just divorced Loni Anderson, was not amused and threw water at him. Things sort of went downhill from there.
