Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Natalie West got her start in show business by performing on the grand stages of Chicago in plays such as The Butcher of Baraboo and Life and Limb. It was for her performances in these productions that she won two Jefferson awards amongst many others. While she became famous on the small screen for her role in Roseanne, she was unable to get any other big roles for nearly two decades. Thankfully, her luck struck when she landed the role of Margaret in Nate and Margaret.
