Ellen DeGeneres played the incompetent and chatty therapist Dr. Whitman. Jackie decides to take Fred to a therapist to help their relationship. She is concerned about his (apparent) anger management and hopes to jumpstart their relationship with the help of a professional. As it turns out, Dr. Whitman is not that professional. She cracks jokes about recording the session for her friends, ends a marriage before even seeing Jackie and Fred, and doesn’t exactly help the couple mend their problems.
