Alicia Goranson is almost nothing like the character she played on the show. Going primarily by the nickname Lecy, Goranson ended up leaving Roseanne upon gaining acceptance to Vassar College, which eventually led to the role of Becky being recast. Goranson continued acting in smaller roles, taking on parts in shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boys Don’t Cry, Fringe, and Damages. She was also in several shorter films, including The Wood House. Goranson won an Innovator Award for the part she played in Roseanne.
