Bernard’s rise to fame began as a prominent stand-up comedian in the New York City comedy scene. She alerated the attention of agents and began book acting roles on the screen. She has appeared in the hit sitcoms 2 Broke Girls, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Will and Grace. The opinionated and biting comedian has also written a number of bestselling books including the autobiographical Confessions of a Pretty Lady which she later turned into a top selling stage production. She most recently appeared in the Comedy Central comedy series Broad City.
