One things Brooke didn’t hide from her fans was her love for animals and being a vegan. She was also an avoid animal rights activist and that issue was very close to her heart. Moreover, she even spoke against the fur industry back in the late 80’s. However, Brooke has shocked the world when she, quite hypocritically, traveled to Copenhagen to create a mink fur coat. She received a lot of negative attention and came under the scrutiny of PETA and other animal rights organizations.
