If there was one thing Brooke wasn’t afraid of it was stepping out of her comfort zone to prove to everyone that she was more than just a beautiful face. She decided to try her luck on stage and went on to appear in several Broadway productions such as Chicago, Grease, and Cabaret. One of her more memorable roles was when she played Morticia Addams in the musical version of The Addams Family back in 2011. When Shields ended her role as the stage version of the Addams Family matriarch, she said goodbye to the stage as well as to New York, selling her Broadway apartment.
