John Rinaldi was later charged and in his trial he admitted to having a (quite creepy) crush on the actress since she first appeared on screen as a child. In fact, he has been infatuated with the actress for the three decades she was active for. He started feeling all kinds of feelings towards her when he was 12, but tried to justify it by saying that it was ”typical of any kid with a crush… [He] thought Brooke was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen in the world.”
