At Princeton, Brooke met her (first) Prince Charming and her real-life superman, actor Dean Cain. In her very revealing autobiography, There Was a Little Girl: The Real Story of My Mother and Me, the actress goes into details about the night she spent with the actor. Brooke has been very open about her thoughts about abstinence, so that was a bit of a surprise. In an interview which took place years later, Cain was asked about his relationship with Shields and he said ”I was in love with her certainly, we were in college, sweethearts.”
