After her father’s premature death Brooke was having a hard time trying to bounce back. It couldn’t have come at a worse time as the actress was pregnant with her first baby and was a few months away from delivery. Eventually, Shields gave birth to her first daughter just three weeks after her father’s passing. Welcoming a baby is a roller coaster of emotions and Brooke, who had just faced the loss of her father, was a big mess inside and she started losing any touch with reality. Soon, depression kicked in, and Brooke was at the worst state in her life.
