Bill Medley was the voice behind the male part of the song I’ve Had The Time of My Life. When he was approached to do the song he agreed, but thought the film was an XXX-rated film than a serious Hollywood production.
When his song hit it big with the film, he was as surprised as anyone! Three years after Dirt Dancing, Bill and Patrick worked together again when Bill sang the song Unchained Melody in the film Ghost, where Swayze starred alongside Demi Moore.
