While statues and colossal structures were built to honor pharaohs and leaders during the first few thousand years, most experts believed that the trend had started to diminish as the years went by.
Because of this, they assumed that pharaohs who ruled during the era of Psamtik I did not utilize these statues. So, this statue is incredibly rare, and incredibly unique, and may even be one of the only ones in the world.
