There is nothing more annoying than when you ask a question out loud and no one knows if they’re supposed to answer; the worst is when they actually answer a rhetorical question, or don’t respond to something that needed a response.
This happens a lot in marriage and eventually you start to learn when a question is rhetorical and when it permits an answer. Once married couples recognize something like this, they will save themselves a lot of frustration and there will be significantly less fighting involved in their marriage.
