Married couples usually have joint bank accounts and share the money and income between them. That being said, there is usually one who keeps track of how expensive certain household products are – it’s different in every family.
Clearly it’s the wife here and this husband learned a valuable lesson when he used too many paper towels. How dare he waste something so pricy? Thankfully his wife is there to remind him not to do such things.
