The Facts of Life quickly became one of the most famous shows of the ‘80s, and there wasn’t a soul in the world who hadn’t at least heard of the sitcom. In fact, it seems as though the success of the show even made its way to Vatican City!
Nancy and her family were actually allowed to visit the famous city and were even granted a private audience with Pope John Paul II. Few people have ever been allowed this pleasure, and this experience was one of the most impressive moments of her career.
