Despite Cyrus’ relative silence on the matter, there was a persistent rumor as to the reason he had begun divorce proceedings. It was said that Cyrus decided to get a divorce after finding out that Leticia had had an affair with Bret Michaels, lead singer of the rock band ‘Poison’.
It was alleged that Leticia had also had affairs with other men, although they were never named. Bret Michaels has categorically denied the accusations, saying they sprung from Miley recording one of Poison’s songs, as both she and Leticia were fans.
