This was the case for this Fall Out Boy fan, who knew they wanted something special to celebrate the band. To start with, this tattoo looked rockin’ – but it has since had a little career slump and gone off the rails a little bit. The colors have faded, the critter looks a little worse for wear – the whole thing has lost its sparkle.

If you’ve ever seen someone with a face tattooed on their body, you’ll know just how much detail and precision goes into making it right. That was exactly the case for this face on the left. The waves in this woman’s hair are absolutely perfect, the facial expression is incredibly emotive, and the whole image is very poignant. Yet, this has slowly gone downhill as the years have gone by. The outlines have merged together, and she looks more tired than interesting. Don’t worry; it happens to the best of us.
