The charity does a number of things. First, it raises money for children whose families are not able to afford the surgery to correct their child’s cleft palate. Second, Mia Moo works to educate the public about cleft palates. Lastly, the charity invests money in research in order to find more efficient ways to correct the condition. In order to accomplish all of this, the needed to raise money which is why Jase chose to shave his beard.
