Slowly but surely the puppies began to trust the men. Now they could see they were here to help, some of them even let the group get close enough to stroke them. At last, Jr knew it was time to move forward with the plan of getting them to safety. It was back in the boat as he would need to make several more trips to get everything they needed onto the island. However, they only had one shot to get it right before they lost the puppies’ trust forever.
