As well as keeping up the appearances of the palace, any member of staff is also expected to dress correctly at all times if they want to keep their job. This means a formal dress code that includes dress shoes and tailcoats at all times.
Members of staff are also required to speak eloquently at all times as well as having good manners around the palace. Those late night parties and sweatpants must be left at the door for anyone hoping to work alongside the Royal Family.
