While some of the staff must learn to scrimp and save, it seems as though four members of the team are greeted to the more lavish side of life. In fact, these workers can earn anything from $150,000 to $230,000 a year depending on their role.
These lucky ones are the Keeper of the Privy Purse, the Queen’s private secretary, the Master of the Household, and the Comptroller of the Lord Chamberlain’s office. It’s thought the high-profile aspect of the job is what earns them the extra paycheck.
