Through it all, Kelly remained strong and stayed true to herself. She said she didn’t care what people said because it didn’t matter – after all, it is HER body, not theirs. She shut down shamers and had some of the greatest comebacks of all time. A brilliant example of this was when someone commented on her 4th of July tweet with a frank “you’re fat.” Clarkson responded with “…and still ******* awesome”. Many fans came to her defense and praised her for her response, so much that it out-shined the hater.
