No worries; Burt had a plan to make back all the money he had spent over the last few years. The actor signed up as part of the sitcom Evening Shade where he approached CBS about taking a loan. The network agreed, and Burt was suddenly millions of dollars richer once again. All he needed to do was act in five seasons, or 100 episodes, of the show before it was sold to syndication and he would have enough to pay it all back. Unfortunately, the show finished after 98 episodes and four seasons.
