A lot of musicians will have a backing band that they like, but few are as dedicated as Kenny Rogers. While most singers aren’t too invested, and are willing to rotate or change their backing band according to what’s available, Kenny performed with the same backing band – a group called Bloodline – from 1976 until the end of his career.
Rogers’ motivation for sticking with Bloodline actually makes a lot of sense – he claims that he stuck with them all those years because they knew his songs already – which makes sense!
