In 2007, Rogers won appreciate from the strangest of sources, when the England rugby team made ‘The Gambler’ their unofficial anthem while competing in the Rugby World Cup. The team encountered the song after hearing one of their members playing it – becoming enamored with the tune and choosing it as their anthem.
