As for when the Reddit user was going to pop the question, he was apparently waiting until the vacation the two of them had planned together. We assume he’d planned to split up with his girlfriend before then; otherwise, she might have wondered why he was going away with his co-worker.
She’d definitely have had questions when he came back home engaged to someone else. It’s unlikely the guy will still be going on this vacation after what happened unless he decides to come clean, of course
