The final words of the multi talented icon, Jane Dornacker will give you the chills. Dornacker who was a rock artist as well as a traffic reporter, was tragically killed just as she started one of her reports on WNBS Radio. The helicopter she was aboard nose dived and crashed into the Hudson River and sank in. According to the crash transcript, her last recorded words were ” Hot the water! Hit the water! HIT THE WATER!”. These words sure give you a sense of what she was feeling moments before her tragic death. Dornacker died on her way to the hospital when she was only 39 years old.
