Brady earned a certificate in Film and Video Production at the University of Sydney and that was his ticket to the entertainment world.
He was cast as one of the lead roles on the popular soap opera, Noah Lawson. He stayed on the show for four years. His television debut was in 1998 when he acted in a series called Breakers.

The 35 year-old had been nominated for four times for the Australian TV Week Logies. His death on the show broke the hearts of fans as well as his wife on the show, Hayley Smith, played by actress Bec Hewiit.
Brady and Hewitt were also engaged in real life but they are no longer together.
