This character is one that millions of people have grown to love. Sheldon’s constant antics have kept the world entertained since the pilot episode as he struggles to grasp such concepts as humor, sarcasm, and empathy. He also lives his life by a strict routine, much to his roommate Leonard’s annoyance.
Sheldon works as a theoretical physicist, and since the fifth season has been in a relationship with Amy. In season 10, the two get engaged, after years of his friends (and some viewers) questioning his ability to love. The two tie the knot in the final season, and then go on to win the the Nobel Prize in physics.
