Alex Carson, played by Sam Ball, is 30-year-old Jenna’s boyfriend. She wakes up with him in her apartment and is utterly confused as to why he is there, and why he is not wearing any clothes. Later in the film, Alex shouts to Jenna, calling her “beautiful.” She’s shocked, as her 13-year-old self, and her best friend Lucy explains to her that not only is he her boyfriend, he’s also a famous hockey player. Jenna, however, realizes that she doesn’t like him very much.
