Best Buy’s manager was not willing to give Vale his camera back, and thought the police would side with him. Vale called the police, and they came to the store to resolve the issue. They told the store manager that Vale had done nothing wrong and they needed to give him his camera back.
One police officer even asked, “Do you know who this is?” before telling them he was an internet prankster. It seemed as though the police officers were big fans of Vale’s and even posed for a picture.
