Chip Wilson stepped down from the board of Lululemon in 2015, although the company’s shares still make for the most part of his fortune. However, he is still attempting to be part of the company from a distance, by purchasing advertisements right next to the Kitsilano headquarters in order to get viewers to his blog, in which he writes recommendations for Lululemon. He has also donated $8 million to Kwantlen Polytechnic University for the Chip and Shannon Wilson School of Design.
