In recent events, Kate surprisingly lost custody of their son, Collin. Collin was enrolled in an outpatient program for special needs students, and seemed to be getting on rather well there. However, when Jon found out about this enrollment, he was mortified.
The father stated that Collin doesn’t have special needs in the slightest, so doesn’t feel the program is necessary. Fans have been further confused by Kate’s parenting as, according to Jon, she hasn’t seen her son since December 2018.
