“Set it and forget it!” is the line we would all say to the television when Ron Popeil would point at his audience to say back to him. Ron was the inventor and face behind the Showtime Rotisserie Oven. He came at a time when people wanted to heighten their in-home cooking experience, so he offered them a way to perfectly grill a chicken on their very own. Sadly, his company, Ronco, went bankrupt back in 2007. Popeil is currently living in New York City and enjoying his retirement.
