[post_page_title]Pushing Daisies[/post_page_title]
Pushing Daisies was a hit with its audience as well as the critics, and many people still agree it was cancelled much too soon. The show followed a baker with the power of awakening people from the dead, and the private detective with whom he solved crime mysteries.

The adorable show, however, was perhaps too adorable for its own good. Executive producer Barry Sonnenfeld had said the scripts were “slightly too cute” and lacking in plot. But since they didn’t want to “lose the quirkiness,” they opted out of making it more procedural.
