When the rest of Europe refused to come together to develop a top fighter jet for 2018, France took the task upon themselves. The result? The Dassault Rafale. The name roughly translates to “burst of fire” which may give a clue as to the incredible capabilities of this aircraft. The French now have a jet that can track up to 40 different targets at once while shooting at four targets at the same time. The plane has now been taken on by militaries all around the world, including those in Egypt and India.
