Despite not being able to recollect what the present was, Vicki suggested that she really should have known it was a book. She explained how she was a big reader when she was younger, with one of her favorite places to hang out being the bookstores.
Makes sense. She said how the present could never have been too elaborate seen as she worked at Canadian Tire for $1.25 an hour. Oh how times have changed.
