One woman wrote into the style magazine to relay the story of how she went on a date with a guy who had broken his leg. They had once gone on a date years before, and now he was filling her in on how badly his life had been going since then.
He had broken his leg and offered to show her, even highlighting that the injury had some pus oozing from it. Despite declining to see it, he insisted, and he got it out during their coffee date.
