We really have no explanation for this one. What we have here is a teeny tiny island, with one dock, one house, and one road that connects them.
The road is extremely short, and it probably would take about a minute to walk the entire distance. For some unknown reason, however, there is also a car on the island, to drive the short way from the dock to the house and back. This is some serious laziness in action.
