Stranger things have happened, from toddlers to untrained puppies, household items can be ruined in mysterious ways, and furniture is expensive. So, instead of having a useless seat or replacing the whole thing straight away, this is indeed one solution.
It doesn’t look as comfortable as the couch, but at least you won’t have to sit a million miles from everyone else while you’re watching your favorite program or movie. All in all, a creative solution to a problematic situation.
