Although there is a sweet innocence to this movie, its level of outrageousness is on another level.
Henry Rowengartner, a young kid with a love for baseball, is hospitalized and upon leaving discovers that he has a freakish ability to throw a baseball extremely fast. He then proceeds to join the Chicago Cubs, where the line between young child and national superstar gets blurred in more ways than one. But hey, at least Gary Busey is in the film.
